Laurent Lafaye, Dawex co-CEO, has been invited to speak at the BDVA's Data Spaces main roundtable on "Data Spaces & Beyond". 

This session reflects on state-of-the-art developments for European Data Spaces and gives a chance to vision on how data spaces respond to economic, environmental and societal most pressing challenges and benefit society in general,  not only as an approach to trusted data sharing, but also to create new services and boost innovation. This exceptional panel discussion will delineate a spectrum of possible visions adding on to current state-of-the-art understanding of data spaces.

Laurent Lafaye, Dawex co-CEO, will be presenting the session entitled: "Succeed in building sectoral common European data spaces, a matter of compliance with the DGA & the Gaia-X principles."

The development of new data regulations such as the Data Governance Act & the future Data Act, and the definition of a new reference architecture for Data Exchange services by Gaia-X focus on one objective: Building a strong, powerful and sovereign European data economy to foster innovation & reinforce Europe’s leadership. However, in today’s competitive landscape, creating successful data spaces requires data sovereignty and a trust infrastructure. 

Gaia-X designs a trustworthy, sovereign and interoperable federated services architecture built upon data exchange, compliance and interoperability across data ecosystems. 

Dawex, leading the Gaia-X Data Exchange Services Working Group, invites you to dive into what it means to comply with the Data Governance Act and the Gaia-X Trust Framework. As, in the near future, the implementation of Gaia-X specification will be a must to build European data spaces.
