#Is America still the land of opportunity? Dawex interview on BFM Business
Laurent Lafaye, Dawex co-founder, was there with three other speakers:
- Arnaud Muller, founder of Saagie (platform based in Rouen, France, whose role is to generalize access to Big Data)
- Pu Jian, VP of strategic partnerships for CAILabs (developer and manufacturer of optical solutions for telecoms and other companies)
- Pascal Samama, economic journalist at BFM Business .
The three startup representatives shared their experience and talked about their ways of addressing the American market and setting up business there.
Laurent Lafaye reiterated the fact that the United States has always been part of Dawex's plan, from the very outset. In his view, "The United States is THE country for data." That is why Dawex opened its office in San Francisco – to be as close to customers as possible. Also, 40% of the Dawex members is currently from the United States .
This round table was an opportunity to examine the importance of acceleration programs and professional networking services with respect to the United States, from both a business and operational perspective. Guests talked about how the Impact USA program helped them penetrate the American market.
