Dawex participates in Gartner Data & Analytics Summit in Frankfurt

Didier Navez, vice-president of Strategy & Alliances at Dawex, went to Frankfurt, Germany, on October 23-24 to meet with hundreds of companies and analysts during the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit. It was a prime opportunity to exchange ideas about many topics related to monetizing data, and the value added that data represents for companies.


In addition to over 20 analysts, the event attracted many directors of data and analytics divisions from a wide variety of European organizations across all business sectors. Dawex was able to interact with these influential players over the course of several discussion sessions.

The sessions covered many topics relating to different aspects of the data value chain. It was also discussed how companies can focus their activities on data.

Constructive discussions shed new light on:

  • The changing Digital Strategy Director role
  • Programs for business data governance
  • Data science
  • Ways to manage and monetize data

Didier Navez also emphasized the fact that companies monetizing their data are valued at nearly twice the market average.

Dawex was able to benefit from this event to share its experience about the global data marketplace with directors of data and analytics divisions for major groups.
